Born and raised in St. Petersburg, Russia, in this "Venice of the North," crowded with splendid palaces, cathedrals, tree-lined avenues and beautiful bridges, I was exposed from my earliest years to the fine arts and classical music, which were my first inspiration that ultimately led me to a career choice as an architect/designer.

Subsequent to completing advanced studies in architecture at Ben-Gurion University in Israel (BA) and graduating from Harrington College of Design, Chicago, IL with Masters in Interior Design, I had the privilege of working with prestigious design and architectural firms in Israel and the United States. My experience ranges from commercial, corporate, retail and hospitality to residential projects.

My rigorous architectural approach to space planning, form creation and detail is evident in all of my work.  I believe in the constant exploration of my design language and diverse use of materials, color palettes and concepts that are specific to each new project and its physical context.

Graduated from DePaul University School of Commerce with a bachelor’s degree in Finance, I began my career in the banking corporate world.  While mastering multiple facets of the industry, my dream of interior design always continued to hover over me.  For as long as I can remember, I was mentally rearranging furniture and moving walls around in every new room I entered. Resolving decorative dilemmas or transforming an outdated, dubious space into a comfortable, functional and appealing environment stimulates and inspires me. It was this infatuation that led me to follow my inner passion and make a career change into interior design.

The majority of my design experience encompasses multiple aspects of residential living.  In my designs I incorporate the latest innovative principles, unique style ideas and concepts brought with me from my vast travel experiences while integrating comfort and function. Continuing professional curiosity, edification, and exploration of fresh ideas result in enhancing and improving each subsequent design project to please the beholder’s eyes and soul.

I look forward to enriching and fulfilling the lives of our prospective patrons with efficient, beautiful and harmonious space design environments.

Caming to the United States at age 15 and graduating in the top 5% of the class in Montclair High School,  I was the first non-U.S. born student to graduate with honors. Subsequently, I graduated from the University of Illinois with undergraduate degrees in Graphic Design and Industrial Design.

Though I had two job offers at local design firms, my ambition motivated me to move to Milan, Italy, to work for Design Room, a design firm with clients such as Giorgio Armani, Disneyland, Motorola, Adidas, Lindt, Amro Bank, Ceruti, Alessandro dell’Aqua, and La Rinascente, among others. A year later, I felt ready to pursue a master’s degree at the oldest and most-prestigious design school of Italy, Scuola Politecnica di Design, also in Milan.  I earned my master’s degree there in Web Design.

Internationally known as an exhibit designer, I graduated with a bachelor of science degree in Manufacturing Engineering from Technical University, USSR and a PhD in Arts, as well as completing postgraduate coursework in Industrial Design, Design Research Institute Moscow. In addition, I worked as an Associate Professor of Industrial Design at Western Michigan University and had the privilege of working with clients such as Starz, Sandata, Stryker, Mecalux, DRS Technologies, Bank of America, Bosch, Uniden, NCL, Disney, Microsoft, Samsung, LG Electronics, Nike, Crestron, Zeiss, Toshiba, Mitsubishi, Boeing, Alamo, Mitsubishi and others.

I hold 112 international patents, six of which are in United States, have been recognized with 26 international awards and over 80 publications have honored my work.
